Google Buzz

Last week Google started their new social networking tool called Buzz. Its built right into Google's Gmail so setup was nothing at all really. However they also have had some backlash because of privacy issues. Any one of your contacts can start following you or anyone could read about you on your new Google profile, such as mine below:

In the search world though, Google has made some interesting choices with their new member profile pages. For instance when they link to blog entries they have decided not to include the rel="nofollow". That means many things, but for now it means that people will be using Google Buzz as a search marketing tool, if nothing else.
