Google Web Page Removal

I recently decided to remove an article from SoshHowell.com which is quite easy to do. However, the old cached version was still showing up in the Google results a week later, and ranking quite well.

I decided to try Google's remove request service through their Webmaster Tools. About 12 hours later I checked back in and it says removed, but its still cached in my local results. I'll have to check in with it later.
