Press Releases

I did a press release last week for a new tool I put out, Business Name Generator. I tried using a couple of different sites, but saw nothing of it in results. Until today.

I notices this morning that I had actual traffic from on of the release sites.

This makes me think that press releases and articles could be a very useful tool for getting the word out. Originally I was thinking about it as a tool to help with search marketing and I still think that it could be useful there, but it gets extra validation when it produces actual traffic.
